Emi Mess was founded in 2020 by its Creative Director, Emilie Messal. The name itself, an abbreviation of her own, reflects the intimate bond between the creator and her Maison — an eponymous brand by excellence.
In her appartement privé, nestled in La Ciotat on the Mediterranean coast, a delicate curation of textures, light, and objects of beauty shapes the atmosphere in which Emilie designs. From this intimate gem — her appartement atelier — emerged fluid, purposeful silhouettes, a distinctive universe conceived as a tribute to her grandmother.
Going against the tide, Emilie embraces a seasonless vision, far from fast fashion and deeply rooted in sustainability. Her creations blend vaporous fluidity with architectural precision, shaped in luxurious fabrics. A timeless monochrome palette ensures each piece transcends seasons, destined to endure.

Emi Mess became a means of expression, a creative outlet. When her grandmother passed away, Emilie found solace in work and creation. It was the Janine collection, named in her honor, that served as an anchor — marking the beginning of her stylistic fulfillment.
